Shipping & Delivery Policy
Last updated: 16 September 2026
At NNST, we aim to make delivery of your flat-pack furniture as straightforward as possible.
This Shipping & Delivery Policy explains how we process, dispatch and deliver orders placed through https://www.nnst.co.uk/.
1. Order processing and dispatch
Items shown as available from stock are normally prepared and dispatched within 3–4 working days after your order has been successfully placed and payment has been received.
Working days are Monday to Friday and do not normally include UK public holidays.
The 3–4 working day timeframe refers to the time required for us to prepare and dispatch your order. It is not a guaranteed delivery timeframe.
Once your order has been dispatched, it will be passed to our delivery/courier partner for delivery to the address provided at checkout.
2. Delivery times
Delivery times can vary depending on:
-
Your delivery postcode
-
The size and number of packages in your order
-
Courier availability
-
The delivery service used
-
Remote or extended delivery areas
-
Weekends and public holidays
-
Adverse weather or other circumstances outside our reasonable control
Most orders will be delivered within the courier’s normal delivery timeframe after dispatch.
Some areas may take longer to deliver.
If your postcode is in an extended, remote or otherwise restricted delivery area, additional delivery time or charges may apply. Where applicable, we will contact you with further information.
3. Tracking information
Once your order has been dispatched, we will provide tracking information where tracking is available.
Tracking details may be sent by email, SMS or another contact method provided when placing your order.
Please use the tracking information to monitor the progress of your delivery and, where applicable, make arrangements with the courier for delivery.
Please allow a short period after dispatch for tracking information to become active on the courier’s system.
4. Delivery address
It is your responsibility to provide an accurate and complete delivery address when placing your order.
Please check that your:
-
House or building number
-
Street name
-
Town/city
-
Postcode
-
Contact telephone number
are correct.
If you need to change your delivery address after placing an order, please contact us as soon as possible.
We cannot guarantee that an address can be changed once an order has been dispatched.
Additional charges may apply if a delivery has to be redirected because incorrect delivery information was provided.
5. Receiving your flat-pack furniture
Flat-pack furniture can consist of multiple packages.
Depending on the product and order, your furniture may arrive in one delivery or in multiple packages.
Please check the number of packages against the delivery information provided where possible.
If packages are missing, please contact us so that we can investigate with the courier.
6. Checking your packages upon delivery
Because our products are flat-packed and can contain multiple panels, components and fittings, we strongly recommend that you inspect the external packaging and packages as soon as possible when your order arrives.
Before signing for the delivery, please check the packages for obvious signs of damage, such as:
-
Significant tears
-
Crushed corners
-
Punctures
-
Open or broken packaging
-
Severe dents
-
Signs that the contents may have been damaged
Where the courier allows you to do so, please inspect the packages before signing for the delivery.
If there is visible damage, please notify the courier at the time of delivery and record the damage on the delivery documentation or handheld device where possible.
You should also take photographs of the damaged packaging before opening the packages.
Important
If you are asked to sign for a delivery as being received in good condition, this does not by itself remove your statutory consumer rights.
If you discover concealed damage or a fault after opening the packaging, please contact NNST as soon as reasonably possible.
We recommend keeping the original packaging until you have checked the furniture and are satisfied that everything has arrived safely.
7. Damage discovered after delivery
Sometimes damage to a flat-pack item may not be visible until the packaging has been opened.
If you discover damage after delivery:
-
Stop assembly of the affected item.
-
Take clear photographs of the damaged component.
-
Take photographs of the packaging where possible.
-
Keep all packaging and components.
-
Contact NNST as soon as possible.
-
Provide your order number and details of the affected part.
We may ask for photographs or other information to help us identify the problem and determine the quickest solution.
Depending on the circumstances, we may arrange replacement components, a replacement product, repair, refund or another appropriate remedy.
Nothing in this section limits your statutory rights where the goods do not conform to the contract.
8. Do not dispose of packaging immediately
For your protection, we recommend keeping all original packaging until you have:
-
Received all packages
-
Checked the furniture
-
Checked the components
-
Confirmed that there is no damage
-
Completed or substantially completed assembly where appropriate
Original packaging may be required if an item needs to be collected or returned.
9. Delivery of large or heavy furniture
Flat-pack furniture can be bulky and heavy.
Please ensure that someone is available to receive the delivery where required.
Our courier may deliver to the delivery address but may not be able to carry furniture into the property, upstairs or into a particular room.
Delivery arrangements can vary depending on the courier and service selected.
Please consider access restrictions such as:
-
Narrow entrances
-
Stairs
-
Narrow hallways
-
Low ceilings
-
Gates
-
Restricted roads
-
Apartment access
-
Lack of suitable parking
It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that the furniture can reasonably be delivered to the property.
10. Failed delivery
If a delivery attempt is unsuccessful because nobody is available, the address is inaccessible, incorrect information was provided or another issue prevents delivery, the courier may:
-
Attempt delivery again
-
Leave instructions for rearranging delivery
-
Take the goods to a local depot
-
Contact you to arrange another delivery
Any additional delivery arrangements will depend on the courier’s terms.
If additional delivery costs arise because of circumstances within the customer’s control, NNST may contact you regarding those costs where permitted by law and the applicable terms.
11. Delays
Although we aim to dispatch stocked items within 3–4 working days, delivery dates can sometimes be affected by circumstances outside our control.
Examples include:
-
Courier delays
-
Severe weather
-
Traffic disruption
-
Road closures
-
Industrial action
-
Public holidays
-
High seasonal demand
-
Operational or technical problems
-
Events beyond our reasonable control
If we become aware of a significant delivery delay, we will endeavour to keep you informed.
A delivery estimate is not intended to exclude or reduce any rights you may have under applicable consumer law.
12. Orders containing multiple products
If your order contains several products, they may be dispatched together or separately depending on stock availability, package size and courier arrangements.
You may therefore receive multiple tracking numbers or separate deliveries.
If you believe part of your order is missing, please contact us and we will investigate.
13. Furniture available from stock
Our stated 3–4 working day dispatch timeframe applies to products that are available from stock at the time of purchase.
If a product is temporarily unavailable, made to order, personalised or subject to a different lead time, the relevant product page or order confirmation may provide a different timeframe.
14. Delivery areas
We currently deliver to eligible addresses within the United Kingdom.
Certain postcodes or locations may have extended delivery times or additional delivery charges.
These can include certain remote locations, offshore areas and other locations subject to courier restrictions.
If an additional delivery charge applies to your address, we will provide relevant information before completing the order where required.
15. Delivery and your consumer rights
Nothing in this Shipping & Delivery Policy affects your rights under UK consumer law.
If goods arrive damaged, faulty, incorrect, misdescribed or otherwise fail to conform to the contract, you may have statutory rights and remedies under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Signing for a delivery does not automatically remove those rights.
Please contact NNST if you believe there is a problem with your order so that we can investigate and provide an appropriate remedy.
